DHBW Mosbach has two campus, Mosbach and Bad Mergentheim. Both are in the Northeast of Baden-Württemberg - roughly between Heidelberg and Würzburg.

The town of Mosbach dates back to the 9th century and used to be a monastery, residence and county town which it is still today.

The town of Bad Mergentheim dates back to 1058. Later it became the residence of the Grand Masters and Deutschmeister and a famous spa.

Mosbach is located next to the famous Neckar Valley at the southern foothills of Odenwald, a wild-romantic mountain range and popular recreational area near Heidelberg and the Castle Road, With its picturesque half-timbered houses it bears witness to an almost 1,200-year history. Bad Mergentheim

Bad Mergentheim is located in the scenic Tauber river valley and famous Romantic Road. The Teutonic Order of Knights established its headquarters there in 1525 and built the castle whose mighty walls and domed towers still dominate the town and accomodates the campus. When its springs were discovered in 1826, the town grew into one of Germany's most celebrated health resorts. Elegant stores, cafés and restaurants as well as the wide spa gardens and its pools, turn Bad Mergentheim into an attractive place for living, working and studying.
